Saturdays are meant for this

Mace & I had the whole day to do boy stuff. So we started off with McDonalds and headed to the Vintage Woodies show at the Gibraltar Boat Yard.

This one doesn't qualify as wood, but it gets an A in originality from the 48 Chev cab & chassis to the dock boxes for a bed. Not to mention the bitchin 80's 550 ski. Nice plate too...

If a picture is worth a 1000 words. Nice use of text though!

After that we attempted the horse track. It was short lived because it was hot as hell. We did manage to sneak a pick of the most rag-tag group of "jockeys" ever assembled though. Kinda hard to see it but the girl just lit a Lucky Strike and the other guy that's not 90 is talking on his cell phone. Just the thought of running a horse race with a pack of Luckys & a Crackberry in yer pocket is kinda kool though...

Have you seen me?

This invitation comes from some friends in Mpls. It made me miss an old tractor we abused as kids. The thing took a beating like nothing else. Every bit of american steal thrashed by countless poundings from at least three generations. There's not a toy tractor made these days that could even hold a flame to these old suckers. The Chinese can keep their gold metals and leaded plastics. We'll take steel. Anyone seen my old tractor?

Mason's First Ride

I don't know how Care got the video camera so quick, but this was priceless. He has never been able to throw his leg over by himself, until now. He's a natural!

Random Update

Here are a few random pics from the past couple weeks. I need to pack my camera often. I do have a vid I will work on uploading soon...

The Lamberts were in town from Connecticut, so we met em for a beer and got to meet there new little dude...I dunno.
Mace loves his new skid loader that Kelly & Mike gave him.
Pete decided to bury a bone this morning. This was AFTER he cleaned up.

And of course a few highlights from the Dream Cruise yesterday...
